Emma first joined Mutual Value Labs in 2024–2025 as an On Purpose Associate. During that time, she led the team in articulating and deepening their understanding of their distinctive character as an organization. After completing the On Purpose program, Emma returned to Mutual Value Labs in October 2025 to lead their people and culture operations.

Before joining On Purpose, Emma spent 16 years as a registered social worker, specializing in work with disabled adults. She brings extensive HR experience from local authority, voluntary, and charity sectors, with particular interest in inclusive management practices and strategic systems change.
