Lynda Chen

Lynda joined the Economics of Mutuality team in 2018, where she worked for Mars, Incorporated as APAC Director - Economics of Mutuality from 2018-2021.
Lynda has over 25 years of commercial experience in manufacturing, retail, IT, and consultancy in Asia across the functions of major program management, market entry, new business development, commercial negotiation advisory and responsible business consulting. A commercial negotiation specialist fluent in English and Mandarin, Lynda worked for a leading global negotiation consultancy in Hong Kong, delivering negotiation solutions across Asia to predominantly Fortune 500 clients.
Before that, Lynda worked for Best Buy's Private Brands Global Sourcing in Shanghai, China, where she was responsible for the APAC market entry of their Private Brands and Dell China as a project management advisor in their global consumer business.
Lynda holds an MBA degree from Said Business School at the University of Oxford (UK) and a Master of Letters in International Business from the University of St Andrews (UK). She is also a certified PMP (Project Management Professional) by the Project Management Institute (US) and a Certified Coach by the International Coaching Federation.
Lynda is passionate about social entrepreneurship and women's development in her spare time. She serves as a mentor and expert at UNLEASH, a global social innovation accelerator, and an advisory board member of Mission for Migration Workers, a non-profit organization in Hong Kong supporting migrant workers in crisis and empowering them to regain dignity. She is also a mentor of the Women Leaders Mentoring Program by The Women's Foundation in Hong Kong, Mentoring Women in Business of Cherie Blair Foundation for Women, and an evaluator of the Asia Gender Equality Fund of AVPN. Lynda also served as a Women Advisory Council member at Amcham, China.
